Earlier today there were 30 Dems who were going to vote against Gonzales. Now there are over 42. The Abu Gonzales vote is not for another two days. We may still be able to get Salazar to oppose Gonzales and say
no to torture. Call him and email him to urge him to vote no.
Also, this really shouldn't even be at all an issue, but apparently for some people it is: if you happen to be Hispanic, it may be a good idea to mention that and say that you strongly oppose his nomination for AG.
Might want to also mention if you donated to his campaign, or (if you're actually in Colorado) if you volunteered for his campaign. Of course, you can also say that such help won't be happening again if he votes the wrong way...

[Update] A few people have said that Salazar is now undecided. If he was pro-torture last night and undecided now, that is definitely a good sign. Please keep the calls and emails rolling in!
Here are some comments indicating the undecidedness:
I just called Salazar (7:03 Colorado time) (none / 0)
and his lackey now says Salazar is undecided. Yeah, right...

The guy who answered the phone said that Sen. Salazar has not taken an official position one way or another, so there's still hope. Please call so we can ensure his vote is the correct one.
