The first time I called they hung up on me because I was from California.
I called back and they said that if I called again they would call the Capital Police.
So if I call again I will likely end up in Guatanamo confessing that I am an 80 year old chinese woman.
Washington Office of Tom DeLay 1-202-225-5951
Wow! I am overwhelmed by the responce to this diary. I never expected anything like this to happen.
As has been requested I will provide greater detail...
I saw the diary DeLay breaks ethics rules. Again.

Reading the comment i found the post
"We also want you to call Republican congressional leadership offices. Please tell them that the Ethics Committee has an obligation to look into the allegations that have been raised, and that as leaders, they must make sure that happens.
Speaker J. Dennis Hastert (R-IL): 202-225-2976
Rep. Roy Blunt (R-MO), Majority Whip: 202-225-6536
Rep. Eric J. Cantor (R-VA), Deputy Majority Whip: 202-225-2815
Rep. Deborah Pryce (R-OH), Conference Chair: 202-225-2015
Rep. Jack Kingston (R-GA), Conference Vice-Chair: 202-225-5831
Rep. John T. Doolitte (R-CA), Conference Secretary: 202-225-2511
Rep. John Shadegg (R-AZ), Policy Chairman: (202) 225-3361
Rep. Tom Reynolds (R-NY), Chair, National Republican Congressional Committee: 202-225-5265"
And decided to call them. At the end I was thinking why don't I call Delays Office directly?
I called I was not happy but I haven't been for a while and these shenanigans of his are making it worse. I won't pretend to quote my exact words because I don't remember them. But at this point the Staffer who answered said California as you or I would say putrid rotting dogmeat and hung up the phone.
This did not hjave the desired affect on me. I called back and asked if they were int he habit of hanging up on American Citizens or something to that effect. The responce of the staffer was antagonistic and to the effect of - When they aren't being respectful yes! - and hung up again.
I called back and told him that Mr.Delay shoudl not be a congressman and that was when he said that if I called again he would call the Capital Police and I would be in a lot of trouble. I was stunned and think I said "What?" and he repeated it again in a threatening tone of voice and hung up the phone.
And I posted the story here along with the phone number. Another poster suggested making it an action alert and I did so while correcting some capitalization errors.
I came back and found that the community here has acted inan overwhelmingly cohesive manner. I'm a little embarassed that I caused such a big deal.
But I am also glad. I now feel that I have made a contribution to Our Country and Our Democracy. I am proud to know that I motivated all of us to stand up and speak out for what we know is right.
I hope we caused Tom DeLay to feel shame, for he should feel shame.
I hope we caused Tom Delay to feel ill because he has made each of us feel ill watching him abuse the power granted to him in trust by the People of the United States of America.
I hope that each and every person who reads this diary takes heart in knowing that we are not alone, that we will stand together and speak out in one unified voice to decry the abuses of the despotic and the violations of our rights as citizens of the United States of America.
Thank you ladies and gentlemen of Daily Kos. I am honored be in your presence and I am grateful that you are willing to stand up for me and for yourselves.
And for the first time in far far too long I can proclaim for all the world to hear that today, because of your character, your dedication to what is right and your courage to speak out I am Proud to an American.
