I am posting these appearances in simple defense of Howard Dean's schedule since he became chair. A diary or so here lately are calling on our Democrats to be more outspoken. That part is ok with me. What is not ok is implying that the new chairman is twiddling his thumbs.
First there was a pretty intense training session with the transition team, mayors, and governors. It was pretty much under the radar, but all were very involved.
Those who heard Howard Dean speak know that he believes that using the local media is the best way to get good coverage right now. He is right. He has had excellent coverage locally. Others of our Democrats should be on TV, and I wish they would be the ones who stand and speak truth. Howard Dean said he will not do that for a while.
So this post is to show only from March 8 on what he has been busy doing in addition to duties at the DNC headquarters.
