Big Media Matt argues that this is counter productive, but I disagree.
He misses the subtext that pervades this argument.
The Republicans are modern Calvinists in their tax policy, and like the Calvinists, they believe that people are wealthy because they are anointed by God for their virtue.
As we all know, it's wrong to tax virtuous people, we should only tax bad people.
Bad people are known to be bad because God has not smiled on them, otherwise they would be rich.
We need to bring up Paris Hilton, Donald Trump (who first inherited his money), Barry Bonds, Lizzie Grubman, Bernie Ebbers, Ken Lay, etc.
To fight this, you not only have to argue public policy, you must take down the stool upon which they stand: that you should not tax the rich because they are good people.
