I discovered this blog last fall as a result of a journalism class I was taking. I attained trusted user status in about two weeks. Why, I don't have the slightest idea. It certainly was not because I had contributed any brilliant ideas. It sure didn't take me long to figure out that posting on C&J (which I love) and Pastor Dan's Sunday night sermon would get me all the mojo I needed to keep my TU status.
What does my TU status mean? It means that I can troll rate others. I have probably done that about three times. It means that I can read "hidden comments," big deal, why would I even care? I think I've accessed it once just to see what I was missing - which was exactly nothing. I'm not here to be a judge of what others say. I am here to acquire information and to communicate with others of like mind and promote the democratic agenda.
The truth of the matter is that I am too brain-dead in the morning to contribute much of value to C&J, and I am fairly close to being an agnostic, if not an atheist to really be sincere when I post to Pastor Dan's Sunday Sermon. From now on I intend to just be me, and not pander to those diaries where I know that I will receive mojo for my blathering.
BTW, I really appreciated today's diaries on the Bolton vote. It is this kind of diary that draws me here and keeps me here. Let's just keep on fighting the good fight!
