here at iowa state university in front of the library, the college dems and whoever else wants to have been reading continuously in shifts since thursday afternoon. we've been camping out since then, too, through cold and wet, and hot and really unbelieveably hot [in the sun]. today @ 4:30, we reach our 100th hour.

we've been reading a great deal of political text and for the most part those are kind of dry or predictable (jabs @ bush et al). but there have been some more interesting texts that have nothing to do with politics. some of them include The Zombie Survival Guide, Stardust by Neil Gaiman, The Princess Bride, a whole slew of Dave Barry, Alice in Wonderland, and more. These aren't political, but really, at least we, as students, are reading for fun.
