Well I guess it's not really news, but it's looking more and more like this is a coordinated media/dem power structure attack on Dr. Dean.
And lets realize, if it wasn't "white christians" it'd be something else, they really are out to get him.
Just now on Imus, when he had a chance to defend the Dr., Harold Ford decides to attack the DNC leader. (paraphrasing) "I know that the Governor does not speak for me, nor does he speak for most democrats. He' going to be in Washington today and if he can't tone down his rhetoric I think the party
is going to have to go in a different direction." Yes Harold Ford really said words to that effect.
Someone is going to have to explain to me how pointing out that the republicans are a white christian party is somehow an insult to white christians, I don't get it.
We all know that the republican power base doesn't really work for their supporters. I guess the dem power groups in Washington don't really care about their base either. Since the dem party is supposed to be the "party of the people" this is particulary disappointing.
I'm going to email Mr. Ford's office and let him know, that yes, Dr. Dean does speak for me and you politicians in Washington are going to have to start backing him up. If Mr. Ford gets enough emails, maybe he'll change his tune.
