Any of you who have ever read my blog, are probably familiar with a fool who calls himself the Logic Monkey. He spews hatred whever he goes.
This person is a teacher at a school in Durham, NC.
Finally, after him posting as a comment, "It's too bad you weren't aborted," I had enough.
I looked through his blog for clues as to who he was.
It wasn't hard. And I outed him... And he lost his mind.
(MUCH More Below)
Now, I encourage all of you to go to my blog at
http://oklahomahippy.blogspot.com, to see the full story, but ultimately he posted this on my blog this afternoon.

Fine, you litte assholes. My blog is gone. I hope you think you've won- because you have not. Think about it- the left wing is a dying creature. You lose elections and will continue to lose elections. You have not had and will no longer have any effect on foregin policy- we will not leave Iraq when you want us to. Your party will continue to push itself off into the fringe and lose members.
Keep ranting, lefties- you are dinosaurs

This guy erased nearly 2 years worth of the most vile rhetoric imaginable because I insinuated that I would put up the email address of the Headmaster of the Private Christian School where he teaches.
This is an imporant lesson.
I now want to share with you the final post I made on the matter and the conclusions that I made. It's very telling.
So, here's the post
As many of you may have read here, Logic Monkey is quite a detestable person. He slung profanity and epithets that Dick Cheney wouldn't have thought to use on the Senate floor.
He was for the war, and in favor of torture, but made clear his position on serving himself. "It's not my damn job to enlist," he said.
So, I used publicly accessible information to find out who he was. It was mainly information that I garnered from his blog.
Once I knew who he was, I posted a link to his profile on the website of the school at which he is currently corrupting the minds of innocent children with his hate mongering.
This elicited a response that was quite amusing. You can see it below. He threatened to call the police. Knowing he had no cause of action and checking with my in house attorney, (The Hippy's Wife) I confirmed that his threat of legal consequences was about as uninformed and laughable as everything else he says.
Ultimately, the problem with Logic Monkey was that he would say things and spew hate at complete strangers as if he were unaccountable or didn't care what people thought.
Once he discovered that his illusions of anonymity were about as real as the President's reasons for going to war with Iraq, he revealed himself to be the scared little miscreant we always knew he was.
He was embarrassed. He was ashamed. He was scared that I actually would put up the email address to his School's headmaster and encourage everyone to scour his blog and the comments he's left elsewhere and send the headmaster their favorite bits.
This was unacceptable to him. He knew he was living a double life. One as a good Christian teacher of children, and the other as a hate monger who found human life contemptible and wanted nothing more to make believe he was justified in saying the vile things he said.
As recently as this morning, he left the following comment on one of my earlier posts.

Well, Okay, I learned my lesson. You win. Still, it's you and the left that has contempt for human life. You kill babies. You killed Terri Schiavo. You don't care one whit about innocent people in Iraq, except that it's Bush's war, and you hate Bush.

Clearly, he hadn't learned his lesson. For the record I want to say that I have not killed any babies, and Terri Schiavo died 15 years ago, and I wasn't the least bit responsible.
But, this comment drew the ire of someone, and despite any claims to the contrary, it wasn't me. But that someone left a comment in response to the above nonsense.
Here is that comment for your enjoyment:

No, I don't believe you have learned quite yet. The resident Hippy has a sense of humor, but basically did nothing more than embarrass you.
Let me clarify some things for you:
I don't have contempt for human life; I have contempt for yours, Chris.
I don't hate war; I hate senseless war, and the advocacy of cowards who have never worn a uniform or badge, nor had to fight for anything other than the justification of their own egocentric opinion, yet feel it incumbent upon themselves to ask others to fight wars they will not.
You are a shining example of the worst sort of American, one who feels entitlement without responsibility.
But you can't escape accountability, because it isn't entirely your decision whether or not others hold you accountable for your actions. Now that we are an e-mail away from notifying anyone you have ever meaningfully known of your each and every transgression, I think you'll find the leash very short indeed.
I would strongly suggest you consult an attorney about the technical definition of harassment...specifically, I would encourage you to read between the lines and take note of what is not considered harassment.
Truly enlightening.
Rest assured, if you haven't learned your lesson, you are comment away from having it branded across your forehead.

Now there are good people on the right who believe in the good that the invasion of Iraq could bring. They understand that war is horrible, but sometimes necessary. They also tend to understand that the torture of other human beings is reprehensible and we as Americans should be above such acts.
The questions was never are we like the terrorists. The question is really, are we different enough?
Some people refuse to see the distinction. Logic Monkey was an obvious example of someone who loved death and war and torture. Beyond loving it, he celebrated it. I found it disgusting that a person could be so crass. I found it sick that his moral relativism told him that since certain Islamic extremists had taken to cutting off heads, that anything we did short of that was perfectly acceptable.
Despite all of his hypocritical harping that the left was guilty of "Moral Relativism," he was the biggest practitioner.
So, imagine my surprise that the person who didn't care at all what people thought of him, who claimed such moral superiority on issues involving the sanctity of human life, and squealed with glee every time new stories of torture emerged, left the following comment on this blog.

Sure enough, clicking over to his blog, which you can do here, shows that he indeed did indeed take it down.
Ultimately, his downfall lies in this very simple explanation. He was ashamed of himself. He was afraid of accountability. He knew that if the people he associates with in the real world were to see the things he had written over the last 2 years, there would be consequences.
That's difference between someone like me, who attempts to be thoughtful and well reasoned, and someone like Logic Monkey who is nothing but a hate monger.
I acknowledge that others have different points of view from me. That's fine. I will try and persuade them or counter them. But, unlike the cowardly and pathetic Logic Monkey, I am not ashamed of anything I have to say.
I am fine with ANYONE whether I know them or not reading ANYTHING that I have ever posted.
The fact that he is so scared and so ashamed out to make clear to him that he needs to do some soul searching.
So I leave Logic Monkey with one simple question. I encourage him to close his eyes and pretend his child or any of the students in his class were to ask him this question.
Who would Jesus hate?

We must never forget that these people are really ashamed of their rhetoric.
These people are ashamed of what they say.
The spew hatred when they think they are anonymous, but get scared when they are not.
This tells us how many of the right feels about their justification of torture.
This tells us how the right feels about many issues.
Please, go to my blog and read how the whole thing went down. Leave some comments so he can see what real people think about how cowardly his actions were.
It's important that we not allow people to get away with things like this.
This man teaches 7th graders. This man teaches American History.
We cannot let such vile rhetoric go unchecked.
I am filled with such a sense of acomplishment having done this.
I have never been more proud.
He will continue to comeback to see what people think of him. Give him some choice comments to read. Let him know what you think of him and his rhetoric.
It's really quite cathardic.

Update [2005-6-20 21:27:54 by SenatorX]:
Looking through my own blog, I found this comment he left. Another perfect example of how scary this Christian "history teacher" really is.

Ho hum- I should've joined the army, since I'm for the war.....got anything new? God, I'm so sick of that argument. Really. You can apply it to anything- gee, if you are concerned with crime, you should go join the police, right?
What do you people think the army is for? It's for murdering people- that's the the army does. Do you think kids join the army so they can just sit on their ass and do nothing?
As for me or the "chickenhawks" I return to an argument I made a while ago- if Bush is so wicked and evil- if Republicans really are "theocrats" who are going to destroy the country, then you need to pick up a gun and try to kill as many of us as you can. Otherwise, we, being so all powerful, are going to win, aren't we?
If some 18 year old kid gets killed in Iraq, I don't care. Really. It's his job to kill and possibly be killed- if he didn't know that when he signed up, then he deserves to die. You have no sense of brutality and that's why you will lose and lose and lose- the army that kills the most, that causes the most unmitigated pain and misery to the other side is the army that wins, as Von Clausewitz told us.

That was May 14, of this year. Read that again.

Is that what he's teaching in his History Class?
You can read the post and my follow-up to this sickening comment here.
Remember, it's not his job to enlist.
