Wow what brave journalist said that. New York Times, Washington Post ...nope CSIS!!!!
What the hell is CSIS, well its Canada's spy agency, our version of the CIA and they feel that the War is Iraq has actually increased the number of terrorists in the world. This report was prepared in Febuary of this year and was released with some stuff blacked out to the Ottawa Citizen (our Washington Post). The Citizen wrote an article about it on page A1:

So now we have a situation where the Intelligence Agency of your largest trading partner thinks you actually hurting the War on terror by invading Iraq. This is news because these people may attack Canada or try to come to the USA through Canada and we have to be prepared.
It seems to me that this new info would make a great question in a Briefing,
More below the fold.
Reporter "Canada's intelligence Agency thinks that the War in Iraq is actually creating a new set of battle-hardened jihadists that will be a threat for years to come"
Scotty "blah blah blah....bullshit....blah blah"
Reporter "Scotty that didn't answer my question, is the Iraq War hurting the War on Terror?"
This could be big everyone....this is the intelligence agency of a major country (home sweet home: Canada) saying things like.
These veterans have been responsible for attacks post-9/11 and are continuing their plans for future operations," according to the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS). "They act as mentors for aspiring jihadists."
And
The elimination of its geographical base and the arrest/deaths of some of its leadership and senior cadre has led to a radical transformation," it reads. "Al-Qaeda is not what it once was. As an 'organization,' it no longer exists."
Instead, the spy agency opines, it has morphed into an "ideology/phenomenon."
I'm there will be more to come.....so watch the citizen site.....this is big news here A1 and frankly it scares me, I live in Ottawa, I work in a government building I could be a target.
Personally I don't see why this wouldn't be a question since Bush is saying the USA is winning the War on Terrorism by being in Iraq, this news from a very credable source seem to question that point.
