As the sun sets on our little fairy tale, like a child getting old enough to think about whether the tooth fairy really exists, the American public finally is coming to terms with the truth that we were deceived in order to go to war in Iraq. Sure, there are plenty of us who are "too close", or "too emotionally invested", (with the lives of ourselves or the lives of our loved ones) to face this unpleasant truth, but slowly this picture is coming more and more into focus.
The question that I do not hear anyone asking about is: Why? Why were we led into this war? What was the motive? For whom, has this war benefitted?
It is ridiculous to believe that these boys started this war because they "so loved the Iraqi people", and "wanted them to love us as liberators and throw flowers at our feet". However equally ridiculous is the idea that our leaders had stupidly stumbled into this war. Obviously this war received a huge amount of planning, and was the result of a lot of careful maneuvering from some very shrewd people.

The more I read about our government's method of operation, I see the Iraq war as part of an overall strategy that has been meticulously layed out. The more I look, I see that the goal seems to have been to bring the United States into debt in a big way. Follow the money!
The easiest way to create debt is to start a war, while simultaneously slashing taxes. It really seems too simple, but who benefits from such policies? I really don't know.
Another clue, involves the desperate frenzy to privatize social security. Why do these boys want to inject a large amount of money into the stock market? What is going on here?
Remember, these boys are not stupid.
