Just wanted to ask the Kos community if anyone is binding to a Non-Disclosure Agreement with their work, and what the penalty might be for breaking that agreement.
I'll start- I worked in banking, and the NDA I signed basically forbid me to discuss any accounts, accountholders, accountholder agreements, loan information, information on non-accountholders doing business with the bank, and insider information that could be traded upon. Additionally, I could not act on insider information.
Any indication that I had broken that NDA would result in FIRING, and if that was not enough, I could be personally held liable for any actions resulting from a breach of NDA. Addtionally I could be sent to the clink if non-disclosure resulted in harm or loss to the bank or any of it's employees.
So if anyone else is under a NDA, what kind of things are you unable to disclose, and how do you handle a situation where something comes up in conversation that might require you to change the subject?
