"The tax relief stimulated economic vitality and growth and it has helped increase revenues to the Treasury," Bush said, adding later, "We need to make the tax relief permanent."

What a fucker. We need to make tax relief permanent. Translation: My rich friends will not be paying one more dime.
One strong employment report does not a strong economy make. This is pure Repiblican spin. Bush looks at one economic indicator and takes credit for some miraculous recovering of the economy. He drives me crazy. How about the housing bubble? Are your tax cuts for the rich saving America there?
The risk of a sharp slowdown in housing activity crops up repeatedly when economists talk about the prospects for the year ahead. Surging home prices - up more than 12 percent year-on-year - have been feeding through to the economy several ways, including a psychological wealth effect that encourages consumers to spend more because their homes are worth so much more.
And how well off are Americans? 45 million Americans do not have health insurance.
Note to George Bush: everything does not revolve around money. How is the over all well-being of the American public?
You don't know and you don't care. As long as your rich, fat cat friends can funnel more money into Republican campaigns, you are smiling away.
