'Dead Wrong:' Inside an Intelligence Meltdown
President Bush's case for pre-emptive war against Iraq was based substantially on evidence that Saddam Hussein was developing weapons of mass destruction. But a presidential commission described the pre-war intelligence as "dead wrong." CNN Presents pieces together the chain of events that led to the faulty intelligence.
An hour-long program that is a breath of fresh air compared to the usual offerings on 24/7. Nothing we already don't know here, but it's nice to see it presented in such a serious, adult manner on TV for a change.
It is just ending its first broadcast, and will be rebroadcast this evening at 11 p.m and 2 a.m. [Eastern].
Rebroadcast as well on Saturday, August 27
3 p.m., 8 p.m., 11 p.m.
