This is not a joke, althought I wish it were.
King George II graced the peasants of Gulf Coast yesterday. For that I'm sure they were willing to go hungry for another day.
From the Times-Picayune:
Three tons of food ready for delivery by air to refugees in St. Bernard Parish and on Algiers Point sat on the Crescent City Connection bridge Friday afternoon as air traffic was halted because of President Bush's visit to New Orleans, officials said.

U.S. Rep. Charlie Melancon had arranged for the supplies. In addition he had tried to speak with the King about conditions in his district, but the royal guard would not let him approach the Royal Chariot.
(No offense to the Queen of England is intended)
There were rolling Presidential No-Fly zones over the areas visited by King George II, his Magnificence, 10 Mile Prohibited corridor with a 30 mile restricted.
Usually, I'm not sure what the restrictions were yesterday, the following restrictions apply:
In the 10 Mile "Prohibited" Zone only aircraft directly supporting the visit of the King are allowed and law enforcement aircraft are allowed.
In the "Restricted" aircraft under direct control of Air Traffic Controllers, which have had the crews pre-cleared are allowed to operate.
There is description of Rep. Melancon's day on Light of Reason
Local refugee's, stranded on the slip in Chalmette (at least those that haven't died, yet) were heard to exclaim
"I just get so excited when the King comes within 30 miles of me, I couldn't eat anyway. Besides its only been 5 days"
All hail King George II - Worst President Ever
