and when they ask why, tell them it's in protest of George W. Bush.
I just cancelled my Discover Card. I told them because I'm appalled at what has happened.
[update] My first post was too scattershot - a reflection of how upset I've been for days. I think
cancelling a credit card is the best move.
Couple reasons: they're centralized - there's really only a few of them - and they're visible. They tend to have good customer service, and good liasons between phone support and marketing. They obviously all supported the bankrupcy bill, and many outright favor republicans. And finally, it ain't a bad thing to have one less credit card!
Onward.
Tell them you're cancelling because of Bush, and you aren't coming back until Bush is out of office.
Tell your friends. This is the ONLY damn way, in 2005, that anyone will get the message.
Bush LOST the city of NEW ORLEANS. Bush LOST it. I'm having a tough time even conceiving of this. But when I read more about the levee repair funds going to Iraq and "homeland security" I started getting really upset.
There are no longer words for this President. We have to let the powers that be know we are sickened. Cancel something, anything right now.
