I regularly check the NOAA Hurricane Center for storm news. I've been doing so long before Katrina, I'm fascinated by them. Occasionally, they will give you space weather when it's interesting and the Sun just made things interesting today. I just
"spotted" this on the
NOAA web site.
It appears a giant solar flare, the fourth largest in the last 15 years, launched itself from the Sun at 1:40pm EDT on Wednesday. Although the CME ( Coronal Mass Ejection ) isn't directed at Earth, the effects may be observed in poor radio and satellite communication.
Facts above / Scrying Below:
Don't Look Directly Into The Sun
( but click on it for a detailed image )
So here's my attempt at scrying ( dusts off crystal ball ). I predict that some time in the next two weeks, some muttonhead in the Bush administration, probably that Brown-eye or Brownie or arabian horsie or whatever, will use this cosmic space event as one of the reasons that communications broke down in the rescue effort. This will happen even though the megaflare didn't happen until September 7th at 1:40pm EDT.
Speak sooth with me by taking the poll.
