This just hit the BlameGate wires: Brown being removed from managing Hurricane Katrina efforts. They still wont' fire him from FEMA, but this is a good start! Despite the previous rumors, he will not be receiving a medal. That said, I'd like to offer the following "glass is half empty" perspective: If it takes 10 days of all-out media noise and countless unnecessary deaths to get this admin to MOVE ASIDE one of its most incompetent members, what will it take to fix some of the bigger problems we're facing??? Pope going on a hungerstrike? Oh, and I certainly hope the douchebags in the media aren't padding themselves on the back too much about this - couldn't they read his resume more carefully BEFORE the shit hit the fan?
