I missed NPR's All Things Considered this evening, so I decided to listen to the stream on the web (as I often do at odd hours). They opened All Things Considered tonight with a documentary-like, very concise timeline that runs about 30 minutes. It's the best breakdown that I've yet heard in any one place from any single media source... it's full of audio from the events and commentary from officials all over NOLA and the surrounding region.
As we well know, the scientists and meterologists did a fantastic job of sounding the alarm. They also clearly cancel the lies about La officials not making the requests they needed to make.
I highly recommend it:

They open with the news of Brown's pseudo-firing today and end with discussion of one of the first FEMA contractors with ice not getting orders for two days and then being sent to the wrong location.
Listen, comment and pass it on...
