As we come together tonight, remembering those who perished in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C., as well as those who have died in the past weeks in Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi, I'd like to try something a little different.
A commenter on last week's thread remarked that silence is often her best prayer. It seems fitting, especially in contrast with today's "commemoration" in the nation's capital.
So I would like to invite to take a moment of silence to pray, meditate, reflect, remember, whatever you think appropriate. How are we going to do that? Like this: leave no comments on this thread. Just come, take a moment to breathe, and go out in peace.
Leave a recommend if you want to show you were here (yeah, I know...), or if you have something else you'd like to say, e-mail me: street prophet at verizon dot net.
Have at it, and we'll "talk" to you next week.
Update [2005-9-11 21:56:59 by pastordan]: Reader tvb tells me that 11 victims of Katrina died in Florida. We remember them as well.
