Soldiers secure a deserted alley as a body litters a street in New Orleans.
Okay, I just came across this photo and I realized there's something wrong with it.
Can you guess what it is?
Answer below the fold.
I was reminded lately, while watching the Katrina victims, of how much it reminded me of other photos.
Photos from Fallujah.
In fact, the only other place I've seen a dead body being eaten by a dog was in Fallujah. (That particular photo, from New Orleans, I won't show here because it's already been shown once and it's horrible.)
People died while they slept in their beds in Fallujah. Only they didn't drown. They were shot. Many of these photos are here:

Warning, they are very graphic.
So anyway, my point here is that the above photo isn't from New Orleans at all.
It's from Fallujah. Another place where the George W. Bush administration is responsible for many many dead. How many dead we'll never know.
There were war crimes in Fallujah.
There were crimes of negligence in New Orleans.
But the results? You can't tell them apart. Bodies littering the streets of cities. Nobody picking them up. Bodies eaten by dogs.
Thanks, George, for making this country a third-world disaster area. Like your other one.
