Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin announces that three anti-woman bills will be before the Wisconsin Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, Sept. 22. Here's the PP info on the bills:
SB 72 (Family Planning Ban) pulls funding from family planning clinics "by banning all options pregnancy counseling, currently required under federal law. Hence, mentioning the word abortion in a counseling setting disqualifies family planning providers from receiving funds."
SB 71 (Right to Lie) "protects physicians who negligently withhold crucial medical information from pregnant women and their families if the physician believes the woman could use the information to choose an abortion. This bill eliminates legal remedies that exist for patients under Wisconsin law."
SB 97 (Teen Endangerment) is parental consent on steroids: It "requires notarized consent and a government issued identification in order to consent."
