Plame Leaked by Fake News Source? Part II

Sat Jan 29, 2005 at 12:27:30 PM PDT

The fake news agency:

Talon News, a conservative company whose Washington bureau chief and White House correspondent Jeff Gannon is well-known for asking loaded pro-Republican questions at White House press briefings, appears to be more a political organization than a media outlet.

Media Matters for America recently highlighted three Gannon articles that were little more than reprints of Republican and Bush administration releases; Media Matters has also noted Gannon's role as White House press secretary Scott McClellan's lifeline and Talon editor in chief Bobby Eberle's partisan political activities. A more in-depth look at Talon,Gannon, and Eberle casts additional doubt on Talon's claim to be a media outlet and raises questions about whether Gannon should be a credentialed member of the White House press corps.

The fake news reporter:

Special Treatment for Gannon?

According to sources, Jeff Gannon's real name is not, in fact, Jeff Gannon. According to the same sources, his White House press credentials list him as "Jeff Gannon" - they let him use his pseudonym -- even though married female reporters, who use their maiden name professionally, are given credentials with their married name and aren't allowed to be credentialed under their maiden names...

The CIA/Plame leak connection:

Talon News has learned that one of the journalists being targeted is Jeff Gannon, Washington Bureau Chief and White House correspondent for Talon News.

According to a subsequent Talon News story by Bobby Eberle regarding the Washington Post piece, "The Washington Post cites an unnamed source who says, 'The CIA is angry about the circulation of a still-classified document to conservative news outlets.'

They point to a memo referenced in a Talon News interview of Wilson that suggests his wife was instrumental in his selection for the fact-finding trip to Africa."

Talon News was the only service identified by the Washington Post as having knowledge of the memo's existence.

My first diary on this, with all the great research everyone is doing is here:

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/1/28/203014/655

Later this evening or tomorrow, I will begin to compile and cross-reference what we have so far (unless someone else wants to volunteer).

For now, keep researching everyone and everything. If we have volunteers familiar with the FOIA process, that would be great to get started on too ... or to hook up with a group that does it.

Thanks so much - everyone! - for your help/research/enthusiasm for this. Even if it doesn't pan out as a scandal, it's a good dry run to see what we can find out and how we can coordinate as a group.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this diary discussion.  Just goes to show that while Karl Rove has intimidated the MSM into submission, the Kossacks will not back down in our search for the truth.

      Keep on keepin' on!

      •  True, but... (none / 0)

...regardless of how things here pan out, be sure that Rove & pals will be looking to smear dKos however they can.  If you can't attack the facts, discredit the messenger.  They've done it time and time again.  If they feel that anything going on here could be a threat, be sure there will be some sort of pre-emptive attack...

Then again, maybe they're sitting back laughing at all of this.  Who knows?

        •  You mean... (none / 0)

Kinda like Tom Delay saying that his opponent was funded by a terrorist group called the DailyKos?

A statement so idiotic it's laughable, but it represents the kind of shit that MAJOR leaders of the GOP are ready to say about anyone that disagrees with them.

And I think it would be worthwhile to give some thought as to how to respond to such slander campaigns.  Community press releases?  Mass letters to the editor and call-ins to shows?  A combination of these?  Or something else?
      •  I found this on Buzzflash- (4.00 / 2)

"Jeff Gannon" and Karl Rove -- one degree of separation Who is the conservative pseudo-journalist who calls himself "Jeff Gannon" and has a hard-to-get White House press pass, so he can toss softball questions at President Bush and rewrite press releases for a right-wing outlet called Talon News?

We wish we knew. We're on the trail, though. Here's a few more interesting things about Gannon, whose unlikely West Wing access is shedding new light on the unseemly White House propaganda machine.

One thing is that there's an excellent chance he's a native Pennsylvanian (wouldn't you just know it?). His "bio" on the Talon News site states "Jeff is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University System and holds a Bachelor of Science in Education." The vast majority of students who attend Penn State, either at State College or its many satellite campuses, tend to be in-state residents.

More interesting is that he and Karl Rove seem to share a mentor -- a largely under-the-radar wingnut named Morton Blackwell. It seems that "Jeff" also is a graduate of the the Leadership Institute Broadcast School of Journalism -- a conservative propagandist training school that was founded and is run by Blackwell and that operates on an $8 million annual budget which comes from God knows where.

Remember the lame stunt during the Republican National Convention in NYC where many delegates taunted war hero Kerry by wearing purple band-aids that said: "It was just a self-inflicted scratch, but you see I got a Purple Heart for it"? It was Blackwell, a GOP delegate from Virginia, who handed the band-aids out to the conventioneers.

Less well known is that Blackwell -- who was the youngest Barry Goldwater delegate in 1964 -- is also a former national executive director of the College Republicans, who had trained the teen-age Karl Rove to be a "field organizer." According to a May 2003 New Yorker article, it was Blackwell who urged Rove to shun the growing reliance on pollsters and media consultants and go back to the grassroots. We all know how that turned out.

We'd never heard until tonight of the Leadership Institute Broadcast School of Journalism, which apparently trains hundreds of "Jeff Gannons" every year. They were hiding in plain sight.

There's one other thing that raises our curiosity about who or what is behind "Gannon." It seems that when he wasn't bashing Kerry, he paid a ton of attention to the Thune vs. Daschle Senate race in South Dakota. One blog that seemed to think "Gannon" was an authoritative journalist and linked to at least one of his reports was called "Daschle v. Thune."

If that name sounds familiar, it should. It later was reported that the author of the blog, Jon Lauck, was a former Thune campaign staffer and was paid $27,000 by Thune's 2004 campaign while he was producing the Web site.

So let us get this straight: The top Democrat in the Senate loses a race where the GOP sets up a phony blog that passes along news reports from a pseudo media organization, written by a reporter given White House credentials under a fake name. Our head is spinning. Will the propaganda fiasco become George W. Bush's Watergate? Stay tuned.

I am wondering if they picked it up from here?

I would like an answer to two questions:

        1. What are these "suicide drawings" you kept referring to in the other diary, as related to me? SPECIFY. FUCKING NOW. I don't like being impugned by implication, which is what you seemed to be doing.

        2. Who are my "two friends" that you kept referring to? Again, your pretense at precious 'insider knowledge' is annoying enough on its own, but alluding to things with the intent of discrediting someone else and not PROVIDING THE INFORMATION when appropriate is plain scummy.

If you've got something to say about me, some 'dirt' that you think you have on me, COUGH IT UP, HERE, NOW and let people on this site decide.

This pic is from the site version archived on June 23, 2002:

And his helpful "Why am I The Conservative Guy" from the same date:

In many circles, I have become known as "the conservative guy". Some people don't even remember my name because I am an average type guy. I've been a preppie, a yuppie, blue-collar, green-collar and white-collar. I've served in the military, graduated from college, taught in the public school system, was a union truck driver, a management consultant, a fitness instructor and an entrepreneur. I'm a two-holiday Christian and I usually vote Republican because they most often support conservative positions.

I am not a conservative by birth as you might assume. My conservatism has evolved through my life experiences. I come from a very average white rural working-class family. My parents and brother are lifelong Democrats with a tradition of labor union membership. I put myself through college, earning a scholarship and holding a job while attending classes and playing a varsity sport. I enlisted in the military more as a challenge to myself than anything, but got so much more than I ever expected. I learned the importance of self-discipline and self-reliance.

My weapon of choice. Beretta 9mm. This semi-automatic model, characterized by a solid locked breech system, with a rotating barrel, takes advantage of the maximum energy received during firing to produce a very low recoil. This pistol is particularly suitable for personal defense.

              SUV driver

              Nissan Pathfinder

and what is he trying to do?

I believe there are many men and women in America who are conservative. Many more than one would imagine. Many more than would think of themselves as conservatives. When I meet people, and the conversation turns to politics, as it always seems to with me, some of them sheepishly confess that they are Republicans or that they agree with the opinions I have just spoken. It's almost as if they fear the reaction of their peers, that there is something wrong with having conservative views. I am here to tell them that they are not alone. Day after day, more conservatives are speaking up as they have had enough of liberalism run amok.

              Therefore, my mission is simple:

              1. Help people to realize that they have conservative core values and are therefore conservatives.
              2. Help people to be proud that they are conservatives.
              3. Help people to allow their conservative values to govern their actions.
              4. To expose the liberal lies perpetuated by the media, Hollywood, the teachers' unions and the Democratic Party.

and how is he going to do it?

I am going to tell you what I think. I will be passionate. I will be cynical at times. I will employ some humor and some sarcasm. The expression of my opinions will be controversial because I don't have to be politically correct. I'm not running for office. I'm not trying to be fair and balanced. I am a conservative and I am speaking my mind.

I encourage you to do the same.

                INVESTIGATING OKLAHOMA CITY BOMBING
On April 19, 1995, I remember hearing about a search for "Middle Eastern-looking men" following the bombing of the Murrah Federal Building.  The search for them was abruptly halted when Timothy McVeigh was captured.  A Middle Eastern terrorist connection was never again discussed despite a significant body of evidence.  In the wake of 9/11, this demands thorough scrutiny.

The liberal-dominated media has been willing to ignore and suppress such a connection since a white, homegrown militia terrorist suits their anti-conservative agenda.  Shortly after the bombing, President Clinton declared that right-wing talk show hosts were responsible for "a relentless clamor of hatred and division", calling them "purveyors of hatred and division, the promoters of paranoia ...They spread hate.  They leave the impression...by their very words, that violence is acceptable.", in an effort to besmirch the media that had been loudly critical of him.

One can't form an opinion about Middle Eastern involvement in this despicable act since the full body of information has never been examined.  What evidence is there? Jayna Davis is a reporter has been on the story from the very first minutes after the blast.  She has compiled an amazing amount of material that the FBI refused to even look at.  Is there a cover-up?  I'd certainly like to know.

                  Jayna Davis THINKS SO...
by Chondra Moore & Jayna Davis

In 1986, Jayna Davis graduated from the University of Texas with a BA in Broadcast Journalism. During her 12-year career as a TV reporter, Jayna worked as a videotape editor, producer, general assignments reporter, and news anchor.

During her college days at UT in Austin, she discovered her passion for investigative reporting while she studied radio news. She often found herself engrossed in controversial, often politically incorrect stories about public corruption, which won the hearts of the audience but caused heartburn for her supervisors.

The lion's share of Jayna's years as a broadcast journalist was been spent in the south. Her first job was at a small market television station in Sherman, Texas. She then moved eastward to Tyler, then on to the west coast to the third largest NBC affiliate in the country, KCRA in Sacramento, California.

In 1993, Jayna found her niche when KFOR-TV in Oklahoma City hired her as an investigative reporter. Oklahomans are among the finest people she has ever known, with their refreshing candor, strong family values, and rare desire to know the true story behind the stories that have the power to change lives. She believes Channel 4's news philosophy reflected that same sense of decency, honor, and commitment to truth.

In 1997, Jayna resigned her reporting position to raise her newborn son Jacob. Her husband Drew, a Gulf War veteran and native Texan, shared her love for America's heartland, so they agreed Oklahoma would be the place to establish roots. Since 2000, her parents, Paul and Georgia Edwards, sister Laura O'Brien and her children have joined Jayna and her family here in the Sooner State.

From Moon of Alabama: Not so Useless Speculation

Barfly SusanG has an interesting find and blogs about it in her diary at DailyKos.

Jeff Gannon, a Washington journalist for an obscure news agency named Talon and known for softball questions on White House news conferences may be the one who came up with the memo that uncovered CIA agent Plame in the Wilson / Nigeran Uran / Iraqi mushroom cloud case.

Atrios hinted that Jeff Gannon is not the real name of the man.

MediaMatters has some recent articles about Gannon and Talon New which looks like a GOP outfit and about Gannon reporting directly from Bush press material.

The fact that Jeff Gannon is a quite partisan and dubious journalist and should not be in the White House press corp was pointed out by Dan Froomkin in his Washington Post White House Briefing as early as February 2004. He also reported the Plame memo connection on March 10, 2004.

... the federal grand jury investigating the leak of Valerie Plame's identity as a covert CIA operative has subpoenaed White House records on contacts with 25 journalists.

        ...
Anyway, the reason Gannon is on the list is most likely an attempt to find out who gave him a secret memo that he mentioned in an interview he had with Plame's husband, former ambassador and administration critic Joseph Wilson.

Gannon asked Wilson: "An internal government memo prepared by U.S. intelligence personnel details a meeting in early 2002 where your wife, a member of the agency for clandestine service working on Iraqi weapons issues, suggested that you could be sent to investigate the reports. Do you dispute that?"

According to a December Washington Post story by Mike Allen and Dana Milbank, "Sources said the CIA is angry about the circulation of a still-classified document to conservative news outlets suggesting Plame had a role in arranging her husband's trip to Africa for the CIA. The document, written by a State Department official who works for its Bureau of Intelligence and Research (INR), describes a meeting at the CIA where the Niger trip by Wilson was discussed, said a senior administration official who has seen it."

On top of being secret, CIA officials said it was wrong.

Michael Darling in the December 11 edition of the student paper ThePittNews points out:

Under President George W. Bush, the press office has credentialed reporters like Jeff Gannon, an ultra-right-wing member of the Talon News Service -- a consortium consisting of nine volunteer reporters, among them a high school student and a personal trainer. Bush routinely accepts questions from men like Gannon, but inexplicably turns down interviews with Pulitzer-winner Thomas Friedman.

Many commentators in the above mentioned blogs have researched and posted some TinFoilHat stuff and some interesting relations. So far we know:

Jeff Gannon has two personal web sites jeffgannon.com and TheConservativeGuy.com. He is connected to the Pro-Bush Ari Fleisher Fan Club. He was trained at the Republican run Leadership Institute Broadcast School of Journalism. He is working for the Talon News Agency and has a seat in the White House briefing room where he throws strange questions at Bush speaker Scott McCellan and Bush himself. Via WaPo:

"Senate Democratic leaders have painted a very bleak picture of the U.S. economy: Harry Reid, who's talking about soup lines, and Hillary Clinton was talking about the economy being on the verge of collapse. Yet in the same breath, they say that Social Security is rock solid and there's no crisis there. You've said you're going to reach out to these people. How are you going to work with people who seem to have divorced themselves from reality?"

Talon News has the same boss, Bobby Eberle, as GOPUSA with its mission to to spread the conservative message throughout America. and the www.Talonnews.com website resides on the listsrv.gopusa.com server. Here is a portrait of Bob.

As MediaMatters has reported Gannon and Bob Eberle are activists on the Free Republic website.

Bob Eberle is cooperating with his brother Bruce Eberle who owns the site MillionsOfAmericans.com, a Bush support site collecting email-addresses and signatures for pro Bush petitions since the Florida election 2000. Bruce Eberle is know for dubious fund raising schemes. His direct mail company Eberle & Associates names Grover Norquist and his Americans for Tax Reform as a customer.

Bob's wife Kathleen Eberle, the treasurer of GOPUSA, is active in Texan GOP politics.

So there are many possible connections to follow and it is amusing and frightening to surf through these right wing networks. The questions open are:

        - Why has Talon News, a unknown News Agency a seat in the White House briefings?

        - Why does its reporter Jeff Gannon is more serving to Scott McCallan in "Bad cop/good cop" against the press than acting as a real press person?

        - Who or what finances Talon News via GOPUSA?

        - Where did Jeff Gannon get that secret memo?

        SusanG asks in her post:

Does anyone want to join me in useless speculation as to what this complicated crapola means?

        •  Useless speculation? (4.00 / 4)

"Talon News" was put together by the Pentagon Office of Strategic Intelligence or the Office of Global Influence, as part of their plan to creat positive disinformation about the administration. The "news agency" was rolled out at the same time as the invasion of Iraq. It doesn't exist except for this guy "Jeff Gannon", who had a website consisting mainly of NewsMax links for a year before that, and which was getting support from GOPUSA.

Gannon is just a front. He's a "handpuppet journalist", a plant authorized by the White House to ask fawning questions at the pressers, and used by them when necessary to float discreditable evil rumors about their enemies, such as Wilson and Daschle.

He's a complete creature of the White House, posing as a journalist, and used by them as a cats'-paw to feed disinformation directly to the press corps. The WH figures that it can use the natural herd mentality of the pack to get their message out, provided that it seems to have been "uncovered" by one of "their own."

Are there any other "journalists" that the WH consistently favors in pressers? Perhaps they are handpuppets as well.

          •  Remember the presser around March 2003 (4.00 / 2)

...when Bush said he was going to invade Iraq, and he called on certain reporters before they had even raised their hands?

Remember the really tough questions that shameful day?  Like "Do you ask God for guidance in times like these?"

It was an empty ritual, like the old Soviet Union press conferences.  And the journalists all cooperated without a peep.

            •  May 2004 (none / 1)

It seems that Gannon starting working the White House Press Corp propaganda ploy sometime around May 2004.

Georgia had a link to the WaPo on the first thread (here's the link) with a question about him (Gannon) Looks like someone (probably a journalist) had already sniffed Gannon out as a plant. (thank you, whoever you are.)

That was around May 2004. So if you want to look for Gannon's work in the White House Briefings, this is around the time to start looking.

...so, what was going on around this time that would make the Bushbots want Gannon in? ...maybe... an election?

...or, that little bit about torture and rape in Abu Ghraib that Hersh wrote about in April? ...and that 60 Minutes covered as well..

          •  Sounds like a perfect explanation to me. (none / 0)

          •  Wellll, Ari was always partial to Campbell Brown (none / 1)

Are there any other "journalists" that the WH consistently favors in pressers? Perhaps they are handpuppets as well.

At the beginning, Ari would make a few statements at the daily news conference and then he would say "Campbell". And I was wondering at the time if they had a 'flirtation' going.

And then she did a sub on Hardball and got some pretty heavy WH people on. Like Wolfie. And I was watching it and waiting for the tough Hardball questions, and they were softies. Like they had all the time in the world to get their own story version out.

Now, I am not saying Campbell is a plant, because I am sure she isn't, just protecting her WH in, but she did seem to be really close to the WH administration. At the time of the show I was thinking she was sucking up to these people to stay in favor on her WH beat.

Maybe I am the only one who even noticed it and it was when Ari F was on duty.

I'm voting for the Democrat! End of story!

It really seemed from some of the posts at the earlier diary that J. Daniels was a likely candidate for Jeff's real name. Tried looking back over the earlier posts, but there are so many and I couldn't find this: Do you or anyone else remember if any places of residence for Jeff Gannon were turned up? I wanted to check one pretty thorough database for all J Daniels in the state or states where Gannon lived or lives (or anywhere he went to school). And it wouldn't surprise me if he kept his real first name.

  •  Stop the phoney media outlet. (none / 0)

Since Talon is not a real media outlet and is a front for two Republican operatives (with job titleless volunteers supplying the additional personel for the "company"), Jeff Gannon -- their frontman as "reporter" -- should not even be allowed at press conferences. As I said in my comment on the other post on this, it is an insult to real reporters to have to share question time with a bogus reporter asking flattering questions at press conferences. It amounts to the administration interviewing the administration. (How's that for onanism...)

Rove has given us a phoney president, now he's supplying his own phoney press corps.

Do you know if nameBase is still supported?  It's a very useful tool, but the last time I went to the website, it appeared as though that's no longer the case.  If so, then new people won't be listed nor will new information about the people listed in the base when support ended.  Sure would like to buy a subscription if it's still supported

One thing for people new to the tool to know.  name base doesn't identify the nature of relationships.  It only puts you on the trail.  It's up to you to do the follow-up to figure out of the persons in question are allies or an enemy

The Week on the Hill, November 15-18; Lobbying & Law

Bloggers Targeted Daschle and the Press

    John Stanton

South Dakota Republicans opened a new and potentially powerful front in the war over public opinion during their successful bid to oust Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle in the November 2 election. Not only did they orchestrate a highly effective, Internet-based campaign against Daschle, but they also targeted the state's largest newspaper and primary news source, the Sioux Falls Argus Leader. GOP activists in the state -- several of whom were paid thousands of dollars by Sen.-elect John Thune's campaign committee for research consulting -- launched an unprecedented assault on the Argus Leader. Through an alliance of South Dakota-based Web logs, or blogs, and a pseudo-news Web site, the activists hammered away continuously at the paper's coverage of Daschle and raised persistent questions about the objectivity of its writers.

    [snip]

Lauck, Van Beek, and other conservative activists in the state also tout a series of stories written by Jeff Gannon, the Washington bureau chief for TalonNews.com, as their ultimate proof of bias at the Argus Leader. The series, penned in summer 2003, alleged that Kranz, who went to college with Daschle, was not just sympathetic to his friend but was an actual part of Daschle's larger campaign machine.

However, TalonNews is not the independent news source it purports to be. It's run by GOPUSA, a conservative political publishing and consulting firm. While the Bush administration has provided Gannon with press credentials, the nonpartisan U.S. Senate Daily Press Gallery has rejected Gannon's repeated requests for congressional press credentials because of TalonNews' financial ties to GOPUSA.

    •  Way back in March 2004 (4.00 / 7)

an Oregon blogger was getting pissed-off with Jeff Gannon:

      http://webdems.blogspot.com/

      Sunday, March 07, 2004
Now that the list of those subpoenaed to comment on the leaking of Valerie Plame's name has been released, let's return to the topic of Jeff Gannon, White House reporter for Talon News and active member of the extremist right-wing web site freerepublic.com.

Gannon is on the subpoena list.

Why? Probably because he (according to a report in The Washington Post) mentioned to Joe Wilson in an interview in October 2003 the existence of a secret internal document regarding Ms. Plame's position in the CIA as it might or might not have related to Wilson's assignment to Niger.
      [...]

The Washington Post's story of December 25 (page A01, Mike Allen and Dana Milbank) is no longer available for free on the Internet and so I have not provided a link. [...]

With all this in mind, questions surface.

      1. Again, why and under what circumstances was Jeff Gannon admitted to the prestigious circle of White House correspondents?

      2. Who provided Gannon with information about a secret memo regarding the Plame matter?

      3. Who advised Joe Wilson to accept an interview with an extremist working for a sham of a "news service"?

Here's hoping one of the "kool kids" with proximity, a research budget and Nexis will ask some questions regarding Talon and its inexplicable seat in the WH briefing room and also ask about the sources who are providing information about secret internal documents of the White House to a seeming stooge in the briefing room.

Now that Gannon's on the subpoena list and he's lawyered up, his actions are newsworthy.

        3. Who advised Joe Wilson to accept an interview with an extremist working for a sham of a "news service"?

I think that Wilson may have been willing to speak to anyone purporting to be a journalist at that time  -  That he have been approached directly - and that he may not have been "advised" by anyone to accept the interview.

  •  Discovering Gannon's real name is paramount (none / 0)

At the bottom of part one we have a thread discussing how almost every website Gannon's affiliated with is registered to "J. Daniels."

Fro and I think that the amateur quality of the pages, in addition to the Gannon signature on all of them, points to J. Daniels being a name for Jeff Gannon.

Now, what's really going to bake your noodle is that J. Daniels may be another psuedonym. There's no identity verification when you buy a domain name.

I think finding Gannon's real name is paramount. It'll give us some traction in finding his "real" group affiliations and it'll help the FOIA requesters when they look for him on the gov't payroll.

Please help. Anyone in DC today who cares to swing by the offices of Gannon's Free Speech Foundation and characterize the facilities? It's at 611 Pennsylvania Ave, SE, suite 434. The suite # means that they are in a biggish office building, and they're probably sharing offices with another entity. I think that the "Foundation" is a fraud.

Googling I have found a "Bedrock Corp" in Wilmington, DE listed at 5721 Kennett Pike. They link to this page, "Factors and Factoring Information Providers", and this page, Working Capital Cash Flow. I have no clue what "factors and factoring" is about, but the "cashflow" sounds fishy. What I wonder--does the 4001 Kennett Pike location have other storefronts? I see other listings there--a lacrosse camp, a Bank of America Trust and a Mellon Bank Trust, a furniture company...anyone here near Wilmington that can check it?

The New Castle County Delaware Parcel Search reveals that the property sold on 9/22/2004 but doesn't say who the seller was. The current owner, I'm guessing, is not connected with Bedrock Corp. Anyone up for finding the seller?

Ken Musi of Musi Commercial Properties is the current owner. MCP deals heavily with the Health Care Industry and are headquartered at 3908 Kennett Pike, just down the road from the addresses stated for Bedrock Corp. Maybe my assumption about Mr. Musi's role is wrong.

The only political donation I can find from Mr. Musi was to a Republican campaign, of William Roth, in the amount of $300 in the year 2000.

Wonder what we can find in OpenSecrets for campaign donations from the area around Kennett Pike?

The CA phone number links to someone named Bill Borgardt, which connects to this strange bio I found:

What the hell is a "Lead Engineer in Protection Engineering"? Who travels to Peru and the Ukraine?

And why the hell would the state of California say that a business calling itself PR Specialist, owned by a company at 4001 Kennett Pike in Greenville/Wilmington, DE, is doing business at his residence?

                "PR" -> payola possibility.

Question is, who to FOIA for any payments made to "PR Specialist"?

                •  FOIA - Apart from 'Gannon,' these are the folks (none / 0)

listed here at the wintersoldier.com site, who laid the groundwork for the SwiftVets 2004 offensive against Kerry.

Many of the articles/ 'reporters' listed here are supposed journalist-masquerades providing a veneer-for GOP-operatives.

It's a wonderful LIST on the page. I wonder if any, or how many, of them are on the US payroll ?
