I'd like to make two important points...
After reading 1001 posts on how the world is coming to an end I'd like to point out the contrast in America today and America in 2002, 2003 and 2004. The Nazi party then had full control over our lives and we couldn't even begin to see daylight.
Ridding ourselves of any one of Bush's überleutenants was nothing more than a distant dream, but we're now watching it happen, not to just one of them, but to perhaps as many as two dozen! The entire ball of wax is unraveling. We should now begin to understand that we were wrong to have ever doubted America's ability to weed these bastards out. It took us awhile because we were unprepared when they took us by surprise. Things will be OK because we caught it in time. Which is my second point:
Once the world sees that we have installed a stable and intelligent leadership we will be able to expect an abundance of cooperation from even our worst enemies. The entire world will breath a long sigh of relief, and then work harder than ever to avoid the problems that might bring things back to the brink. The opportunity for greater peace will exist once we can show the fascist threat to be gone. I'm even willing to predict the Israeli people will soon elect a liberal Prime minister with a mandate to make a permanent peace with Palestine. Oil prices will soon come down, the economy will grow, and our new leaders will increase tax receipts to lower the debt and restore the strength of the dollar.
It has to be this way because I have seven wonderful grandchildren and I won't accept anything less!
There is sobbing of the strong,
And a pall upon the land;
But the People in their weeping
Bare the iron hand;
Beware the People weeping
When they bare the iron hand.
