Hello,
I live in Fairfield county, Ohio. I was reading my local paper today and found out that my district with be implementing Diebold voting machines in time for the November 8 elections. I am opposed to the use of these machines because, AFAIK, they do not generate any sort of voter paper trail. I have other problems with them as well, but this is my primary concern.
I would like to know if there is anything I can do to prevent these machines from being used in my district (and elsewhere in Ohio, if possible). I realize it may be too late for the upcoming election in November, but this is something I hope to pursue over the long haul. I am a novice when it comes to this sort of political activity, btw, so I really don't know where to start. Any suggestions or advice would be most welcome.
Thank you!
