UPDATE: First spontaneous sighting by one Kossack of another's IMPEACH work!
Reported here!
Yesterday's diary, building on the momentum of the original, promised an upcoming "live blogging" event.
Originally, I thought about doing that today -- and if you're prepared to do so, that's fine. By all means, go right ahead! The whole point of this series of diaries is that the "movement" is Do-It-Yourself. On your own time. When you're ready. The diaries are just a "support group meeting" of sorts.
Anyway, I thought it would be best if we gave people more notice, and declared TOMORROW the first of our Bring Your Camera to Work Day, and asked our participants to post their IMPEACH materials over their lunch hour (in whatever time zone), then post digital pictures of them as they go up, in real time.
Are you up for it?
I've gotten a few pictures from participants around the country, and they can be found in our online "photo chain." And you can post your photos there, too. Quickly and easily. And from there, you can post your photos to our "live blogging" event.
Does everybody know how to do that? Posting your photos the the photo chain is easy enough -- there's a user-friendly interface that's relatively simple to understand. But does everyone know how to put a picture in a comment here at Daily Kos?
I do. But here's what I don't know: How to post instructions on the HTML coding for posting photos so that the diary will actually SHOW that coding. I've seen others do it, but don't know how it was done.
CAN WE HAVE A VOLUNTEER ON THAT ONE?
Great, thanks! Now back to our show...
So, if we can get you the instructions on how to put your photos up, can we count on more of you to participate tomorrow? And remember, not only is tomorrow not the only time we'll try this, but it's something you can do on your own, any time you're ready, really. I just thought this way would be kind of fun.
So, shall we all agree to bring a camera to work tomorrow and try this out? Let's show each other that we're really out there making this happen.
BRING YOUR DIGITAL CAMERA TO WORK TOMORROW -- DECEMBER 22ND -- AND GET YOUR MESSAGE HEARD!
