I've been following the Secretary of State's Initiatives webpage to see whether any of the marriage discrimination initiatives would make it onto the November ballot. There are a few initiatives pending raw count and one which is circulating, but the Capitol Weekly is reporting that even their sponsors are admitting that none of them will make it onto the November balllot.

(more after the flip)
There are two groups responsible for these initiatives, Randy Thomasson's "Campaign for Children and Families" and Dick Otterstad's Church of the Divide. Otterstad told the Capitol Weekly that he isn't collecting signatures. Otterstad and one of Thomasson's advisors, Liberty Counsel's Matt Staver, told Capitol Weekly that Thomasson isn't collecting any signatures for his initiatives either.
Otterstad insisted, however, that if he needed to he could get the signatures to get on the ballot. This seems like a big strategic mistake on the part of the marriage equality foes. The longer they wait, the more accepting California becomes of LGBT people and less willing to discriminate.
