Clay feet exposed, now Dems need to run with it

It is time for the Democratic party to formulate that cohesive, solid message that has been wanting for so very long.

Here on this great blog, the ideas have been postulated and gathered, and now, in the face of this administration's shortcomings To it's very own party is the time for all good men to come to the aid, not just of their own party, but of the country

more below the fold, of my idealistic cookie cutter campaign for America:
The Democratic party has to field candidates that do not reflect the cronyism that has undone this administration, but do reflect judicious use of power.

They need to reflect stewardship (one of my favorite words) with respect to All of America's resources - monetary, natural, and human.

And as importantly, they need to reflect a sense of honor and integrity that has finally been shown lacking to the very sheeple that this president pulled the wool over for so long.

Simply put, the new Democratic party needs to field candidates that are their own men/women, committed to their own values, no matter what the polls say, and brave enough to leave contributors behind that want them to sell out.

But more, they need to value discourse, called statesmanship, in the recognition that (some) opposition do, in fact, have the best in mind for this country, and they need to recognize that while divergent opinions may not mesh with be theirs, for this country's sake, they need to find some reasonable compromise that addresses that divergence.

That is not to say giving away the whole candy store, but just learning to share/play well with others. I think it's called respect. Something this administration never seemed to have gotten the hang of.

We can do it... We've got to.
