Through the Looking Glass: what the freepers are whining about today

Tue Nov 01, 2005 at 02:51:17 PM PDT

I gave in to my morbid curiosity to find out what the freepers have to say about Reid's master-stroke.

In short, the same old bullshit.

Go beyond the fold for some quotes.  And a poll.

The following quotes come from this link.

Further proof the Dims are in meltdown mode.

Check out this douchebag's tagline.

The Democrats are allies of the terrorists. The Democrats are "The Enemy Within".

Nice.

Now we know who in the Senate supports Al-Qaeda.

The democrat hacks will do anything to hurt America -- even during a time of war.

There must be a lack of oxygen in this one's bubble.

Maybe it has something to do with this, too. Really a bad week for dem Dems.

Cogntive dissonance at it's finest.

That's all I had the stomach to read through.  There is much much more at the link posted above, for those of you who enjoy watching such madness.

  •  There's a story to the tampon thing... (none / 1)

One of the secretly recorded phone calls between Charles and Camilla was a famous conversation about how he said he wanted to be reincarnated as one of her tampons... so actually, that's sort of funny despite coming from a freeper.

...is the comment about how Reid is obviously getting ready to run for President.  Makes me want to smile with all my teeth.  All a Republican is able to see in any movement is the politics of it, the defensive and offensive positions being nothing more than chess moves used to accumulate more and more power.  When faced with a guy like Reid, who we all know is never going to run for President, we find them stymied and angry.  This is a guy who is soft-spoken and carries a big stick, a guy who is more of a man than the empty flight suit would ever be, yet he has no designs on the Presidency.  They just don't get patriotic reasons for doing stuff, just power grab reasons...

  •  It's really sad in a way (none / 0)

There is so much us vs them.  It really doesn't have to be that way.  I'm old enough to remember when compromise was a good thing, when politicians were actually statesmen who cared about the greater good.  When you look at the republicans now in office it is no longer for the good of the country but for the power of the party...and since power = money I guess it's all about the $$$.  Now as far as the lowly freepers go...I'm not sure what their motive or reasoning is.  It sure seems that they are lacking some fundamental reasoning power.

I lasted about a week....I felt like the guy in "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"....poking around where I knew I didn't belong....people probing and suspecting that I didn't really belong as "one of them".

    It was creepy.

      Positively creepy.

I've had literally hundreds of IDs banned from FR.  I believe they have my IP address blacklisted...

but-- HA HA!!   Next week I'm changing ISPs and with it a change from static to dynamic IP address.  Could be a boon to my FR stealth missions...
