On Sunday, November 13th, a fundraiser was held for his campaign with special guests Congresswoman Maxine Waters and actress Mimi Kennedy (ABC's Dharma and Greg).
Also on Sunday, he appeared in the Veterans Day Parade in Old Town Tustin. Appearing with his wife Solange, Young was on hand to honor the men and women who have served our country.
On Monday and Tuesday, November 14th and 15th, Young will engage in the first candidate debates since the initial special election on October 6th.
On Wednesday, November 16th, Young will speak at a MoveOn.org Political Action Speak Out event at 11:00am outside the office of Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Huntington Beach), encouraging Rohrabacher to vote against the so-called "Reverse Robin Hood" Budget Reconciliation Bill currently being proposed by Republicans.
A field of 17 candidates competed in an October 4th special election for the United States House of Representatives seat vacated by Christopher Cox.
