So, it's that time of year again, when Dr. Howard Dean gets to eye the 57 candles on his birthday cake (we all know how that feels), and make a wish.
He was born on November 17, 1948, and has lead quite an interesting life as both a doctor, and a politican. For those of you who don't know, he is now chairman of the DNC. What a wild journey it's been for both Howard, and those of us who were involved in his campaign. It's the first time I ever got involved in politics, outside of voting, and I've heard similar stories from other people.

Here's to cold days in New Hampshire, January 2004...
... and to the first political rally my mom ever attended (Albuquerque, New Mexico, February 2004)...
... and finally, of course, here's to Howard. May there be many happy returns! And keep kicking ass against those Bush-lovin' morons out there!
Please post your birthday wishes here!
[editor's note, by Plutonium Page] I normally wouldn't ask this, but please recommend this diary, so we get as many birthday wishes as possible, since I'm going to e-mail it to him. It'll be a dailyKos e-card, as corny as that sounds
