Jean Schmidt and Danny Bubp: National Disgraces

Please take the time to write Rep. Jean Schmidt (r) and Ohio District 88 State Representative Danny Bubp (r) to apologize and RESIGN. We don't need smear merchants like this in the congress, and Ohioans don't need these troop bashers representing them.

Schmidt's remarks in congress:

"...A few minutes ago I received a call from Col Danny Bubp, Ohio representative from the 88th District in the House of Representatives. He asked me to send Congress a message, "Stay the course."     Then for the 4 digit, just put use any 4 digit combo. I used 0001, which is usually a PO Box, which is fine too.

•  I called Republican Congresswoman Schmidt's office

  in DC last night.  They answered but wouldn't take my comment until I gave a local Ohio address and explained how family cellphone plans have made the notion of using an area code to guarantee locale of the incoming call an obsolete notion. Anyway -

  First, Mr. Andrew White, who answered the phone, told me "at least you're polite" when I first started talking to him.  Then he got angry and hung up on me when I said that her comments were shameful and she must take steps to apologize for her behavior.
