and Deanies throw their votes to Clark in AZ, OK and SC in order to slow down Kerry. Essentially, make the story of the night, the John Kerry backlash.
First I'll point out that I'm a Clarkie and I guess it depends on how many possible delegates either can get by finishing 3rd in a state. I know Dean is near 15% in AZ, so if he's around that delegate threshold on Feb. 2, then Deanies should probably help him get some delegates in AZ.
But after seeing Clark polling at 3-6% in MO and 8% in DE and not running any ads in either state, I'd probably vote for Dean, who is a little more competitive in both states, if I lived in either state.
Hopefully, Dean spends a little more time in Missouri. There's a shot for 2nd in that state, especially if he can get out the student vote at Mizzou U, Washington U and St. Louis U.
In re: to SC according to a few polls, it looks as if Clark could challenge Kerry for 2nd in SC. It appears Kerry's past comments on affirmative action comment may be hurting him.
