An attempt by the Nevada Republican Party to increase challenges to voters at the polls has been smacked down by Secretary of State Dean Heller.
Republican chr. O'Mara may have wanted to challenge voters during the "early period" when the district (or precinct) was "the entire county."

O'Mara questioned a law that says a person applying to vote may be challenged by any registered voter of the precinct or district. But when it comes to early voting that started Saturday, the smallest voting area is the entire county.
