Update [2004-10-20 15:19:29 by katerina]:: Great job, you guys! Just checked ratings and they're going way up. Keep up the good work.
Update [2004-10-20 14:19:45 by katerina]:: Thanks for the feedback and the recommends. The list has been updated. See below.
Okay, guys. Here's the idea. We actually have a shot at raising the visibility and longevity of certain stories on Yahoo by rating them. I've been compiling lists each day of stories and photos that deserve attention. I've made it easy to reach the stories and photos by providing links. (As an aside -- please don't forget the photos, they sometimes have more impact than the stories for "sneaking" up on people and getting them to click on something they might have avoided in written form.)
Btw, I'd appreciate a little feedback on whether people are finding these lists helpful or not. It's taking up a lot of my frazzled, stressed-out mom time, and if no one's utilizing them, then I'll just stop compiling them. I don't even know if people are seeing the lists, because of the way diaries are flying by these days. So a recommend is always appreciated. Finally, check back. I've been trying to update the entries throughout the day.
Here's Wednesday's list:
