One of Chip Bok's cartoons from the last week- printed in today's Sacto Bee- makes it out like Casey supported the war and that a) Cindy doesn't care how he felt and b) his supposed support of the war means that she should support it (as if she has the responsibility to forget the facts and conform to any dead or living family member or soldier's misinformedness).
Chip Bok is the same right-wing Akron Beacon-Journal cartoonist who made it out like those who had to wait all day in Dem neighborhoods to vote in Ohio shouldn't complain because they didn't get their legs blown off in a fight to vote like some Iraqi did.
I thought I heard read on the radio a letter by Casey saying he opposed the war by the time of the writingk, even though he hadn't to begin with. There is such a big consensus in the RWCM that of course he supported the war (which proves nothing in the factual sense as they get so many things intentionally wrong, and all the pundits always assume troops= war supporters). I did a google search on "Casey Sheehan opposed the war" and found on comment on one blog- not enough to make an assumption on.
So which is it? I know that other people (including Cindy) on this blog are more up on that answer than I am. I suppose I could look at all the stuff Cindy has written on this blog and find the answer somewhere in there. But I figured this is easier and will help educate and remind some people about Casey's stance, besides just me.
I want to be able to write a well-informed letter against that mean, disrespectful, disingenuous Chip Bok, and any other righty whores who make his claim.
