A friend of mine who's a big tech-head sent me
this story about Dean, two years ago, proposing a National ID card and saying that you should have to use your ID to use the internet. He said this would increase security, not let minors onto porn sites, etc.
Well that sounds just about terrifying to me. I'm a big Dean supporter, but that could have me turned around in a flash. The up side is that one of my favorite things about Dean is his willingness to listen to all the arguments and change his mind. I'm hoping that is what has happened here.
I'm curious to see if anyone has heard about this, or has any information that isn't the small blurb on the campaign website. Anything from a speech or town hall shindig you might have heard?
Thanks in advance.
