I am initiating a Yahoo Groups newsgroup around which to organize political activity in Atlanta.
The name of the group is purpose of the group is United Georgia.
The purpose is to give members of the Atlanta public health, and university community a safe and legal place to discuss political activities and organize activity.
Potentially this could be a very powerful forum, but only if people get involved with it.
I'd like ot personally ask you to join and help get the group off the ground.
You can help in two ways:
- Joining, posting to the group, and replying to other members interesting posts.
- Inviting other members of the community (CDC GLAD <-- is that what its called), Georgia Tech and State students and faculty, that are progressive and interested in politics to join.
The upcoming months should be an extremely active political time. I am hoping by creating such a group, we can give an outlet for the fantastic energy of all involved.
If you have any questions about the group, or anything else, feel free to email me at
db_rein@yahoo.com
Or post to this thread
You can subscribe by clicking this link.
Thanks,
David
