Someone came up with the brilliant idea of creating a set of "Enemies of Social Security" playing cards. This is patterned on the playing cards of Iraq's Most Wanted, seen here:

http://collectibles.about.com/library/weekly/aa041503a.htm

I want to do this, and make it an open source .pdf so people can print their own and pass them out at retirement homes! But I would like some help.

Please nominate the people you feel should be included. Give full name, suit, position and role in dismantling Social Security, and a revealing quote.

Example;
President George W. Bush
King of Spades
Chief Propagandizer
"Social Security will go bust in ten years unless people are given a chance to invest the money themselves." - 1978

Grover Norquist
Ace of Hearts
Ideologue
President, Americans for Tax Reform
"My goal is to cut government in half in twenty-five years, to get it down to the size where we can drown it in the bathtub."

Other big players are Greenspan (need the perfect quote) The Cato Institute, Karl Rove, Brit Hume, Ken Melhman (a Queen?) notable Republican Senators and Representatives - and any Dems who support the idea.

Your input needed! Help me get to work!

Rush Limbaugh as the knave of hearts.

Sean Hannity as the other joker.

My impression was we were talking about the whole Contract on (Against) America, the whole Raw Deal...  I think it would more worthwhile (and longer lasting) to do a War on America deck of cards.  Then you can throw in the War on Civil Liberties, the War on Working Americans, the War on Veterans, the War on Public Schools, the War on Grandma, the War on the Environment, the War on National Parks, the War on Future Generations....

Love your idea but let's make it broader.  Let's bring down the whole house of cards.

52 separate wars being waged on four fronts (suits), each with its own "general," plus two jokers: Bush and Rove, of course.  The four suits could be against FDR's  Four Freedoms

The first is freedom of speech and expression --everywhere in the world.

The second is freedom of every person to worship God in his own way-- everywhere in the world.

The third is freedom from want, which, translated into world terms, means economic understandings which will secure to every nation a healthy peacetime life for its inhabitants --everywhere in the world.

The fourth is freedom from fear, which, translated into world terms, means a world-wide reduction of armaments to such a point and in such a thorough fashion that no nation will be in a position to commit an act of physical aggression against any neighbor --anywhere in the world.
