Horowitz hate column applauds Ruzicka death

     I almost wonder why I am dipping into the dirt pit to bring you this, but it just shows how bad some folks are. --Debbie Schlussel, in David Horowitz's "FrontPageMag.com" today, "Meet the Real Marla Ruzicka" at http://frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=17823 , says,

     "...It's time to stop worshipping at the alter [sic--Schlussel can't even spell!] of this false heroine.

     There are plenty of young American men and women...who've been brutalized or killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. But none of them got the...coverage that Ruzicka got--unless they were anally raped or...played pro football.

     That should tell you...about the media's outlook...: American soldiers fighting for freedom--bad; vociferous activist bimbette...--very, very good.

     While it's a sad day when any American gets killed by Islamic terrorists, it's measurably less sad when that American aided and abetted them....

     For Marla Ruzicka, some might call it, poetic justice."

     Can anyone do anything about this? Jeez.

       "almost applauds Ruzicka death", but maybe that would be being too fair. Schlussel does not seem too unhappy about Ruzicka's death at all.

  Blind hatred has become the ticket to a lucrative career these days.  No talent necessary.  The damages are extraordinary, ripping apart the fabric of American discourse, which was already hanging by a thread.  Somewhere in this airhead soup is the makings of a holocaust, with all the fast and loose talk about killing political opponents, which to my mind is one of Coulter's most egregious transgressions.

  Poor Marla.  Looking at one of her final dispatches from a week before her death, one can't help but notice how even-handed she is in her treatment of the US military:

  In my dealings with U.S. military officials here, they have shown regret and remorse for the deaths and injuries of civilians. Systematically recording and publicly releasing civilian casualty numbers would assist in helping the victims who survive to piece their lives back together.

  Horowitz, who apparently addled after the murder of his friend at a young age should be ashamed. This beautiful angel, went when she didn't have to go to do good.
