A wonderful opinion piece in this morning's New York Times, by Dan Savage titled 'I Could Use a Little Privacy' offers a terrific approach to fighting fundamentalists intent upon reversing Roe v. Wade.
Let's begin a Right of Privacy Amendment.
In the opinion of it's author Dan Savage, how could any conservative oppose it, but if they did, we would have something to hit them over the head with for the next elections. I mean the conservatives have so much trouble finding a right to privacy anywhere in the Constitution, let's make it easy for them.
I am pretty much an illiterate on computer functions so would one of you help with a link to this opinion piece? But, I think its a great idea that could be a rallying point for a long time.
