Okay, last week McCain started campaigning in earnest for Bush, as he has always said he would.
And now this USAToday editorial, not the first to suggest that "Cheney needs to step aside for good of Bush, party". Not for his multitudinous scandals, mind you. No, for "health reasons".
The whole Kerry/McCain news cycle has always seemed very forced to me, especially earlier last week when it was reported that McCain had turned Kerry down on seven occasions. Shyeah, right.
So, with all those polls showing Kerry/McCain with an insurmountable lead over Bush, you gotta ask yourself - was all this a setup? McCain now certainly has a rep as the unbeatable VP choice. And he supposedly snubbed Kerry.
Are we looking at a Bush/McCain ticket? Could that be the October Surprise?
