A week ago, Frank and I were in Seattle. I visit frequently, since my brother lives there, and I still have unfinished business from the years when I lived there.
Anyway, eugene and mcjoan put up a couple of diaries announcing a drinkfest at the Pike Brewery (mmm... beer), so I wanted to use that as an example of how it's possible to meet cool damned libruls via the internets, and a great example of how dailyKos is one way for us to get together to gripe about current affairs in our country. We hang out online, of course, and that's a good way to know that there are others who despise Bush and fear the future, but nothing beats meeting in person.
So, don't say I didn't warn you.
Sappy-ness and happiness commence below the fold.
dinazina and her husband took the pictures. She said I could post them, saying "I'm too lazy to do it myself."
Also, I absolutely suck at remembering names. She doesn't, but she didn't get some usernames, so please fill in the blanks for the "unknowns" (she originally posted the pictures HERE). Oh, and feel free to add your own captions ;-)

"I owe HOW much?"
Aw, wasn't that sweet? I told you it was sappy.
Good beer, good people. Yup, the internets are good for something.
