A REALLY stupid Firefox Question

I'm moving to a new machine (formatting the disk as we speak).

I need to migrate the profiles to the new machine.

I know that copying over the directories will transfer the cookies and bookmarks, but I'm not sure if this will do the same with themes and helper aps (bugmenot, adblocker, etc.)

So, what do I need to do to transfer over the themes and helper aps to go with the profiles to my new machine.

I should know this, but I'm having a brain fart right now.

  The scary thing is that we got this from a government agency as a part of startup aid to my wife's practice (she's disabled), and it looks like it came from Livermore.

  Docs have been removed, but I figured a full format was a good idea.

    The Sleuthkit might have been a good idea. Try it. It's a bootable CD image.

    Just for a laugh.

    Regardless, you might still be able to find something after a simple format.

  Just copy over your complete Firefox folder from Program Files, and the complete Mozilla folder from Windows/Application Data

  Tip: I also set up the cache on my second hard drive for a little more speed.

  That should do it - the add-ons are in there.

•  If there is

  a way to keep the extensions I haven't found it and I've moved the firefox stuff twice. You should be able to keep the links by saving the directories, but probably not the extensions and themes.

    Are in the Extensions folder of the Windows/AppData section.

  All extensions/themes/bookmarks etc are in the Application Data folder on Windows, NOT the Program Files.

  Next time, use a disk imaging software like Ghost.
