I'm not sure that's true, but, with five days to go, that's a perception that could become a media mantra.
Here's the "silver lining" in that media cloud...
If, over the course of the next five days, the media story becomes, "Dean losing his grip in Iowa" and,
because caucus politics are so unpredictable, Dean manages to pull Iowa out by a hair, the meomentum may swing back his way heading to New Hampshire.
This will be a real test of Dean's organizing strength.
Can he and his campaign convert supporter enthusiasm into a victory in Iowa?
I'll be there on Friday and through the caucus on Monday night. I'm curious to find out, first-hand, if Dean (with the help of a few thousand folks like me) can pull this out...
