Counting in Thousands

I was just looking for news about the Freedom Walk. The Department of Defense put out a press release that "thousands" took part. This was echoed by many news stories.

One other story said several thousand. That could be two.

Thousands dead could be 10,000 - or it could be less. Did more die than marched? How many actually marched? So little that we're talking in non-specifics?

Could anyone comment on what really happened without all the DOD blather?

BTW, one news story did note that alot of those marching were government employees.

And the good news - plans are already underway for next year. And! Plans are being made to hold one in every state! Lucky, lucky, us.

  since everyone had to register to celebrate freedom.

  And that's with all of the employees who were "encouraged" to attend.

  New diary about, too , about sisters who attended - with pix. Looks pretty empty.

      I imagine the marketing wing of the White House was working overtime.

      Also, even though the Post pulled out of sponsorship for the event, it doesn't mean they can't exagerate a little.

  That's what happens when a bunch of delusional yes-persons are "in charge."

  September 24 will probably come as a big shock to all of them.
