Everyone needs to email CNN and recommend he stays on the Katrina story (he may already be planning to). He's reporting right now from a New Orleans street and he is still fired up about what's happened, you can see it in his eyes and feel it in his voice.

Before this, I was just neutral in my feelings toward him -- another rich boy playing reporter -- but now I'm in love.... and yes, I know, he's not attracted THAT way to woman, but who the fuck cares. Email CNN now.

He's just so cute! I did hear some disturbing stories of him being a former employee of the Heritage Foundation in Washington, but he doesn't seem to be a hard-right Republican. Maybe he saw them for what they were and got out while he could.

things are just running so smoothly....too early for fingerpointing. Took too long to reach this point...there were breakdowns in preplanning, communications, but getting better.
He says he went to Mississippi this morning, but then says he's been seeing patients all day, and says he's leaving tonight. I think he basically flew in for a photoop with a stethescope on.

  do doctors really wear their stethoscopes like that? I always thought they let them hang in the front with the earpieces around their neck, rather than having the whole thing looped around their neck like he had it. In other words, he looked like a guy who isn't a real doctor but did play one on tv.

  ...I like sanjay gupta better. I remember when they invaded Iraq he was embedded with some military team to had a guy in with head trauma and he did the surgery on the guy because he was the Dr with the most expertise.
  Somehow I don't see frist actually getting his hands dirty for anyone just cause he's there.

She's in love with him too-him and Jim Cantore from the Weather Channel-which may be an Atlantic Hurricane coast kind of love...
Many in my hometown of Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach, NC are in love with WECT's ace weatherman, George Elliot, who used to work for the Weather Channel. I'm in that crowd.

  Ya. His family is legendary, but they don't have the money or power that they used to have. He's pretty open about his Mom being an early version of Paris Hilton (only with class he say). But he does admit to being concerned that his mothers sex life was way more interesting than his own.

        But why work for the Heritage Foundation? People also like to point out that he gave money to a Republican candidate back in 2001. The guy was an openly Gay Republican in New York, I don't think he was in Bush's inner circle :) I missed the "Anderson's Mom" bit, but I did see them do a feature on the work of photographer Diane Arbus. They showed this great shot of a sleeping baby that was quite famous, and REALLY creepy. It was of Anderson and the co-anchors seemed to laugh their heads off. All Anderson said was he liked the picture and had heard that Elton John had once sold him in an Auction. LOL
