Don't make us pull this nation over!

I think we've finally reached the point where it may be dawning on the Democratic leadership that the greatest threat to American Democracy is the Bush administration. Unfortunately, the CMSM doesn't have a problem with that. As such, the Democrats are going to need a strategy to cut through the media bullshit (Liars for Bush) and do so in a way that effects government.
Right now, the only way I can see the Democrats being able to do so is by walking out of congress. They need to stop being complicit in the destruction of this nation. Now, I know this is slightly childish, but guess what? Based on what the President says and does, and how the American people respond to that, we are a nation of two year olds, only we have nukes. We need a strategy that will get the attention of the nation and the world and be so bold it can't be misunderstood or spun.

For years the Media and the right have been whining about everything the Democrats and people on the left do. All we have really done is made life better for just about everyone in this country. But I'm sick of their whining and I think most everyone else here is as well. They are going to bitch no matter what we do, so it's time to finally give them something to actually cry about.

I call it the, Don't make us pull this nation over! strategy.

I think many people have heard that from their parents at one time or another during their life when they were kids. Doing something your parents don't like in the car (Usually fighting with siblings or whining about something) and the response was, "Don't make me pull this car over!"

Well, it's time for the Democrats to use that strategy with our nation. I think we have reached the point where it is apparent that this administration has no plans whatsoever to uphold their oaths of office. As such, I think the Democrats need to call for the resignation of no less than George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Condi Rice, and Donald Rumsfeld, as a minimum. Barring that, they need to call for impeachment hearings for dereliction of duty. If neither happen, then it is time for Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi to pull this nation over to the curb by walking out of the House and the Senate since those in the drivers seat are unfit to drive. The safety of our country is at stake. Don't make us pull this nation over!

I can't believe I'm gonna suggest it, but I think "Don't Make Me Pull This Country Over!" works better.

Why?  When you are frustrated you use baser language, or most people do, and nation is too pretentious compared to "country" for gutteral anger.
