In his pseudo-concession speech, traitorous Joe Lieberman called upon people outside of the state of Connecticut to go to his website and submit ideas on how we can make America better. I suggest that we take him up on his offer. The dailykos community in mass should go to his website once it is up and running again and explain to Joe why it is good for America, good for the Democratic party, and good for his legacy (after all he seems to put his own interests ahead of everyone else's) for him to step aside and support the Democrat that the people of Connecticut chose. We shouldn't be rude in our comments, but instead we must flood him with a swarm of emails explaining in a polite yet firm way why it is essential for him to reconsider his foolish decision to ignore the voters of Connecticut and run as an "independent Democrat" after losing the Democratic primary.
If enough Democrats call on him to step aside, especially at the national level, perhaps he will begin to see the writing on the wall and fall into line. In addition to contacting Lieberman directly, we of course also need to call our Democratic leaders and local politicians and ask them to urge Lieberman to abide by the primary results and support Ned Lemont. What kills me is that I actually voted for this guy in 2000. Why did Al Gore, a good and decent man, choose this jerk anyway?
