Okay,
Lindsey Graham (R-NC & the Gitmo Torture Chamber) is up to his eyeballs in it. There was certainly nothing said during hearings today on Alito that should have taken anyone aback. We all know Alito was a Concerned Alumni of Princeton member and was so proud that he put it on his resume.
So what's all this about Democrats going too far in their questioning, and poor Mrs. Alito crying and running from the room?
Well, maybe it was a setup!

Remember last week we found out that "Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, one of the
gang of 14 who sits on Judiciary, joined a so-called moot court session at the White House."

In fact, Graham might have done so illegally!
According to the Center for American Progress and the rules of the Senate:
"No Member, officer, or employee shall engage in any outside business or professional activity or employment for compensation which is inconsistent or in conflict with the conscientious performance of official duties.
"The Committee has interpreted this paragraph to prohibit compensated employment or uncompensated positions on boards, commissions, or advisory councils where such service could create a conflict with an individual's Senate duties due to appropriation, oversight, authorization, or legislative jurisdiction as a result of Senate duties."
So, considering all this information, is it so outside the realm of possibility that Graham and Mrs. Alito had a little acting class during that moot court session?
And finally, what do you think Mrs. Alito was doing when Judiciary put the screws to Anita Hill? I think she was probably at home getting her roses ready for the garden club.
Mr. Alito, your wife's tears do not belong at a SCOTUS nomination hearing. Then again, neither do you.
