Ok, so I happened across a blog entry this morning talking about four Liberty University students (for those that don't know, this is Jerry Falwell's college in Lynchburg, Va) selling their foreheads as advertising space. While the idea isn't especially new (as odd as it may seem), these tools didn't put any restrictions on the message. From
their eBay entry:
- ONE month of advertising space on our foreheads
- We will wear any clothing that you supply
- We will be exposed in the public for at least 7 hours a day
- We will keep a daily log of the hours that we spent in public and where we spent those hours
- Instead of the other "forehead advertiser" auctions where you only get one person to advertise, in this auction you will get four people to advertise
As of the time of this writing, nobody has found four foreheads of Liberty students to be worth more than $102.50... collectively. I think there's a message in there all its own... but I digress. (more after the fold)
I won't belabor the point on the possibilities here... have at it. :)
Whether you bid on the auction or not, I figure it will be therapeutic to at least use the comments in this diary entry to suggest your favorite messages you'd like to send to Falwell and his crowd on the foreheads of four of his own minions. :) Oh, and don't forget... you get to choose the matching wardrobe.
